Our Story

Our company began because of a long time dream of my brother and myself. Our Dad was a great cook and "Caponata" was a favorite recipe, passed down through generations of the De Chicchis family, and this was Dad's "own" rendition of the recipe. Caponata is an Italian hors d' oeuvre (basically eggplant & olives), which is extremely time consuming to make. We always thought "how nice it would be" to be able to just pop open a jar and instantly have this delicious snack or meal ready to eat and still be able to maintain the same flavorful taste of the original homemade version.

It is now a reality and we are happy to say that we can offer this great product as we had hoped, for others to enjoy without the hassle of spending hours in the kitchen preparing it.

We did not stop there! We are now offering three more tasty versions of our product; Spicy Caponata, Caponata with Artichoke and Smoked Eggplant Bruschetta. All four products are Caponata based and are made with all natural ingredients.

Hopefully in the future we will develop even more good recipes for the marketplace, but for now those are still just on the "back burner" so to speak.
